with the Eric Jacobson Quartet

Freddie Hubbard, one of the greatest jazz trumpeters
ever, passed away in 2008. This tribute concert
showcases his work both as leader and composer as
well as sideman. Join us for this showcase program of

Russian Masters & Favorites
Mikhail “Misha” Litvin, mandolin;
and Stas Venglevski, bayan
Misha and Stas have thrilled audiences worldwide for
their dazzling renditions of Russian music, and we’re
pleased to present them in our Conservatory Nights
series. As an additional treat, Misha will perform
Beethoven’s Variations for Mandolin (with the bayan
playing the piano accompaniment!) The duo will also
delight audiences with many of Stas’s original
compositions.

and friends transforming Bader Hall into a fun-filled
Parisian cafe. Robin will be performing jazz standards
from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone, as well
as some special new duets. She will be joined by her
longtime colleagues plus a surprise guest. These shows

Opera After Hours
Come to the cabaret as the Florentine Opera Studio
pays homage to the European cabarets of the 1920s
and 1930s. Recalling the sophisticated bawdiness of
that glittering and tumultuous era, songs by serious,
and not so serious, composers and their contemporary
counterparts will be performed in the candle lit
Conservatory club.

some of Nashville’s greatest pickers, including Chet
Atkins, Merle Travis and Jerry Reed. Joining Matt will be
fellow guitar faculty members Tom Clippert and Paul
Silbergleit, for an evening of guitar at its best! |
