Guitar Legacy Series
A Tribute to Francisco Tarrega with guitarist Raymond Mueller
Raymond Mueller pays tribute to the Spanish guitarist and composer Francisco
Tarrega, the father of the modern school of guitar playing, on the 100th
anniversary of his death. The concert will feature original works by Tarrega and
selections from the great virtuoso’s concert repertoire performed on a guitar
from the period.

Guitar Faculty in Performance
Always a sold out program, the Conservatory’s diverse guitar faculty presents a
wide-ranging concert, featuring classical, jazz, flamenco, folk, fingerstyle and
bluegrass. Featured guitarists include Peter Baime, Tom Clippert, Ben Kammin,
George Lindquist , Colin O’Brien, Matt Schroeder and Paul Silbergleit. With a
line-up of guitarists this diverse — there is sure to be something for everyone!

Chamber Music at the Conservatory

Join us for an enjoyable afternoon of chamber music featuring a performance of
Prokofiev’s Quintet Op. 23 from 1923. Prokofiev’s work is a kinetic, yet lyrical quintet for the unusual combination of oboe, clarinet, violin, viola and double-bass. Works
by Morton Gould and Paquito D’Rivera are also included on this program.
