Conservatory of Music Building Rental Information
Overlooking Lake Michigan, just north
of downtown Milwaukee

E N T A L P O L I C I E S
• Use
of the building must be during non-school hours and must not interfere
with pre-arranged school performances of other engagements. Event rentals
can occur Fridays and Saturdays after 5pm, and anytime on Sundays. Concert
rentals may occur through the week depending on the schools schedule.
•
Capacity
in the Helen Bader Recital Hall is limited to 100 people for concert style
seating, 90 for sit down events, and 150 for stand up receptions utilizing
the entire 1st floor. The mansion is fully accessible.
•
Food
and drink may be allowed with prior permission. Renter must use an approved
caterer and equipment rental company.
•
All
deliveries, set up, and tear down must occur during the contracted time.
•
Smoking
is not permitted inside the building. A receptacle is provided outside
on the main entrance stairs.
•
Tables
and chairs are available from an equipment rental company.
•
The
Board Room may be used for event/concert receptions with prior permission.
These tables must be covered with table cloths.
•
There
are 20 parking spaces in our parking lot. This space may be used if it
is not during school hours. You may contract for Valet Parking if you
wish.
•
The
Helen Bader Recital Hall should be in the same conditional at the end
of the rental as it was when the rental started. There should be 100 chairs
in the concert style seating. Equipment rental companies can assist with
the removal of these chairs and the set up when the event is done. It
is up to the renter to contract this for this service.
•
If
setting up a wedding ceremony or reception, please contact the caterer
and/or equipment rental agency to discuss set up options.
•
Rental
times contracted must include set up and tear down time. If rental runs
over the contracted time, additional payment will be required. This invoice
would then be mailed to you after the event. Rentals must end by 1:00am.
•
Rental
date will be secured once contract is signed and returned and deposit
or full payment is made. The deposit will be 1/3 of the total rental charge.
•
The
Conservatory will provide a representative to open and close the building
and answer phones.
•
Company
and private events may be required to mail a copy of their insurance certificate
for our records.
•
Security
deposit may also be required for your event
