Featuring dozens of live performances, this year’s Festival of Trees & Music will transform the Conservatory’s historic McIntosh|Goodrich mansion into a wonderland replete with thousands of lights, sparkling trees and stunning décor for children of all ages. Thousands will visit over the course of the festival, enjoy trees decorated by professional artists and performances showcasing many Conservatory and local musicians, as well as community partners. This 11-day music and art festival will showcase community musicians and artisans from throughout Greater Milwaukee and Chicago. Each day will feature music performed by Conservatory students, faculty, and professionals including Sonora Slocum (MSO), We Six (WCM Jazz) and the Chicago Harp Quintet. Custom-decorated Christmas trees will be auctioned during the festival in support of the Conservatory’s community music education programs. They will be available just in time for Thanksgiving and the holiday season.
