When Harry Met the Conservatory Students!
Harry Connick, Jr. made a day-long stop off at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music to work with area jazz students from our school and area public schools. He played, he talked, he connected and he instructed. And then - invited all of the students to join him for the afternoon's sound check at the Milwaukee Theater and stick around for his concert - from stage if they'd like. Experiences like this are
such a marvelous benefit of studying at the Wisconsin Conservatory of
Music. Conservatory jazz students opened the doors, with the help of a
very generous donor, to jazz teachers and students from public schools
for this special afternoon. |
