24th Annual Jazz Camp
Grades 6 – 12 | Learn from Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Brian Lynch and our Jazz Institute faculty while performing jazz classics in small and large ensembles. Both experienced and amateur players will enjoy master classes, as well as listening, rhythm, and improvisation workshops.
One year instrumental experience for grades 6 – 8. Two years instrumental experience for grades 9 – 12 recommended.

Chamber Music Camp
Grades 6 – 12 | Create friendships while performing as a trio, quartet, or quintet. String, piano, woodwind, guitar, vocal, and brass students will be coached by Conservatory faculty, take master classes, and join in a variety of electives. Camp culminates in a Friday afternoon performance for family and friends.
Two years of prior instrumental study recommended. Basic note reading skills required.

Summer Music Institute
Grades 3 – 12 | Refine your skills, get a jump start for next school year, or figure out which instrument is for you at our two week camp!
No experience required

$40 for MPS Students · $175 Non-City of Milwaukee Residents · Location TBA
Grades 3 – 5 | Explore a variety of instruments and musical styles and participate in your first large ensemble.
Grades 6 – 8 | Rehearse and perform in band, orchestra, or choir and round out your experience with your choice of electives.
Grades 9 – 12 | Participate in advanced small ensembles and serve as mentor musicians to younger students.
