Why did you choose to work at WCM?
I was very impressed by the history and legacy of WCM and wanted to be part of it as a dedicated teacher.
Describe a musical experience or teacher that had a positive impact on you.
I enjoy music in many different ways. I attend live performances and listen to recordings. And I read, analyze, study the score and perform them. I also love playing chamber music with friends and colleagues, exchanging thoughts and ideas. Growing up, I used to sing in the church choir as well. Through teaching, I share my musical knowledge, skills and experience with my students. Music makes me want to keep learning and grow. Learning a new piece is never easy (especially memorizing!). However, the entire process of my music making and enjoyment brings me sheer joy. It is therapeutic.
