A Little About Us
Wisconsin Conservatory of Music
The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music is the largest non-profit community music school in the state. Founded in 1899, the Conservatory provides musical experiences to students from age four months through senior citizen, to all levels of abilities, working to develop creative, artistic, and whole individuals.
The Conservatory annually reaches over 16,000 individuals across southeast Wisconsin through individual lessons, classes, festivals, camps, concerts, fundraising events, and our community music education program Conservatory Connections.

The Development Associate is an integral part of the Development department who is primarily responsible for supporting the department in projects as assigned. The Associate reports to the Vice-President of Development. Skills required include: strong written/oral communication and time management skills; attention to detail, exceptional donor relations skills; and knowledge of fund development practices and responsibilities. This individual must show maturity and an ability to effectively communicate and follow the mission of the Conservatory and the policies of the President and Board of Directors.
Student Services Associate
The Student Services Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer services in Student Services at an assigned location for the Conservatory. Duties include greeting customers, answering phones, taking class registrations, processing cash and credit card purchases, assisting with facility needs and generally representing the Conservatory to visitors. The Student Services Associate reports to the Student Services Manager. Skills required include: strong communication skills; exceptional customer service skills; knowledge of business and education practices, and knowledge of music education. This individual must show exceptional maturity and leadership and an ability to effectively communicate and follow the mission of the Conservatory and the policies of the President and Board of Directors.
The Operations Associate is responsible for assisting in Conservatory operations and providing exceptional customer service in Student Services at an assigned location of the Conservatory. Duties include processing cash and credit card purchases, assisting with facility needs, assisting with setup of Conservatory spaces, processing payroll, assisting with human resources, greeting customers, answering phones, taking class registrations, and representing the Conservatory to visitors. The Operations Associate reports to the Chief Operations Officer. Skills required include: strong communication skills; exceptional customer service skills; knowledge of business and education practices and a strong desire to grow and learn. This individual must show exceptional maturity and leadership and an ability to effectively communicate and follow the mission of the Conservatory and the policies of the President and Board of Directors.
