Leanne League is the violin and viola professor at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she was named the 2010 Teacher of the Year by the Wisconsin chapter of the American String Teachers Association. She is the associate concertmaster of the Madison Symphony and assistant concertmaster of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. She has also performed extensively with the Ancora String Quartet and the UW-Whitewater Piano Trio. Her performances have taken her to Amsterdam, London, Paris, Vienna, Graz, Spoleto, Slovenia, Costa Rica, and throughout the United States.

Sam Winternheimer, Bass

As an active bassist residing in Milwaukee, WI, Sam performs professionally in a wide variety of musical styles, as a leader and as a sideman, on upright bass and electric bass. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University, where he studied with world-renowned bassist, Rodney Whitaker, and received his Master’s Degree in jazz studies from Florida State University. He has studied classically with the Assistant Principal of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Robert Goodlett, and taught alongside Robert at the Quattro String Academy in Indianapolis, IN. He currently serves as the Bass Instructor at Eastern Illinois University. As a seasoned teacher, Sam enjoys working with students with experience ranging from beginners to professionals.

George teaches private lessons and also in the Suzuki Strings program. George’s teaching strongly revolves around Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy that “Every Child Can!” It is this belief that every person possesses the ability to play beautiful, satisfying music. An accomplished performer, George has held principal seats in numerous orchestras, including the CCPA Symphony and NAU Symphony Orchestra, as well a cello section member of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra.

Tuition & Payment Plans
Program Tuition
Thanks to our partnership with the KM School District & KM Community Education, the Conservatory is able to offer KM families a resident discount of up to $90 per semester. Enrollment is ongoing on a first-come, first-served basis. Lesson packages that begin mid-semester will be pro-rated for the remaining weeks.
KM Residents (2 – 16 weeks) – $35/lesson
Non-Residents (2 – 16 weeks) – $38.46/lesson
KM Residents (2 – 16 weeks – piano only) – $36/lesson
Non KM Residents (2 – 16 weeks – piano only) – $39.46/lesson
Payment Plans
Payment plans are available for families who wish to split their payments into monthly amounts over the course of the academic year. The initial payment is due at the time of registration and, following that, autopayments will be applied to a credit card on the first of each month.
