Music lessons are held after the school day at Kettle Moraine High School and are open to all members of the community – all ages and experience levels welcome.

Master of Music, Trumpet Performance | University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee
Serves as the chair of the WCM Woodwinds, Brass, & Percussion department. Plays with groups such as the Wisconsin and Milwaukee Philharmonics and the Lake County Symphony Orchestra. Premiered new music with Present Music and DIY Chamber Ensemble.

Mary Kelly Hutchinson, Violin
Bachelor of Arts, Violin Performance | Carthage College
At Carthage College, Mary Kelly was a founding member of the President’s String Quartet & a featured artist in the Brahms Project series, performing on the same program as distinguished violinist Illya Khaler. She has performed at the Kenosha Creative Space, Fine Arts at First, the Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church Concert Series, and in acclaimed venues throughout China and Europe with the Tremper Golden Strings. Prior to the Conservatory, she was the assistant director and a violin teacher at the Carthage Arts Academy, providing a well-rounded education for pre-college and adult students in the Southeastern Wisconsin area.

Colin O’Day, Percussion
Bachelors of Fine Arts, Percussion Performance | University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee
Has performed as a substitute and extra percussionist and timpanist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, the Wisconsin Philharmonic, and the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra. During the summer, plays with the Northern Sky Theater, a theater company that performs at Peninsula State Park in Door County, WI.

George Teague, Cello
MM – Chicago College of Performing Arts
George teaches private lessons and also in the Suzuki Strings program. George’s teaching strongly revolves around Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy that “Every Child Can!” It is this belief that every person possesses the ability to play beautiful, satisfying music. An accomplished performer, George has held principal seats in numerous orchestras, including the CCPA Symphony and NAU Symphony Orchestra, as well a cello section member of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra.

Meet Our Teachers
The heart of the Conservatory is our faculty, consisting of over 100 teaching artists. We build on the legacy of dedicated and talented musicians who have learned, studied and worked here before us for well over a century.
Tuition & Payment Plans
Thanks to our partnership with the KM School District & KM Community Education, the Conservatory is able to offer KM families a resident discount of up to $90 per semester. Enrollment is ongoing on a first-come, first-served basis. Lesson packages that begin mid-semester will be pro-rated for the remaining weeks.
KM Residents (26 weeks) – $910.00 ($35/lesson)
Non-Residents (26 weeks) – $999.96 ($38.46/lesson)
KM Residents (24 weeks – piano only) – $840.00 ($35/lesson)
Non KM Residents (24 weeks – piano only) – $923.04 ($38.46/lesson)
Payment plans are available for families who wish to split their payments into monthly amounts over the course of the academic year. The initial payment is due at the time of registration and, following that, autopayments will be applied to a credit card on the first of each month.
