The MusiCreation Station
Introducing the MusiCreation Station
Introducing the MusiCreation Station, an innovative first-of-its-kind mobile music making sound lab. A van with all the musical technology needed for our community to express their creativity and pique their curiosity will travel to neighborhoods all over the City of Milwaukee. Equipment like keyboards, percussion instruments, microphones, headphones, speakers and laptops will be brought to young people, or anyone who wants to join in on the fun, right in their very own neighborhoods!
Not only will the MusiCreation Station bring the technology to our city’s young people and residents, WCM will be partnering with local artists and WCM faculty members, experts in digital music making, to guide and encourage creativity no matter what skill level or prior experience they may have.
Creatively Connecting the Milwaukee community
Why the MusiCreation Station?
A mobile station means anyone can have the chance to experience the thrill of working with the digital music making equipment without having to find a studio or purchase their own software. Because music is such an important vehicle for self-expression, we need supporters like you to make bringing this project to our Milwaukee neighborhoods possible.
Giving these participants a voice and reengaging their passion for music in a meaningful way reveals and nurtures the next generation of talent in our communities. WCM, community members, and local artists all come together right in our neighborhoods for beautiful moments of joy and inspiration.
Help Make the MusiCreation Station Possible
Without help from supporters like you, this close-to-home music making experience would not be possible. Make a gift and help kick start the MusiCreation Station, coming soon to a neighborhood near you.
