Why did you choose to work at WCM?

I love working with kids and am passionate about every kid having access to music. It should be a universal right.

Describe a musical experience or teacher that had a positive impact on you.

My orchestra teacher really impacted how I looked at teaching music. I really struggled in orchestra and thought about not pursuing music education. He told me “whenever you overcome obstacles, you are more equipped to teach those who have similar obstacles. The best teachers are those who can show the kid who is just not getting a concept because they have been there personally”
