Bach Week Presentation

Event Date: March 21, 2026 10:00 AM

What were music lessons like in the time of J. S. Bach?

Step into the world of Bach on Saturday, March 21 from 10:00–11:00 am at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music for a special MSO presentation, featuring Dr. Andrew Talle, Professor of Musicology at Northwestern University.

A renowned Bach scholar and published author, Dr. Talle will explore what studying music looked like in Bach’s world, offering insight into how musicians learned, practiced, and perfected their craft in the Baroque era.

This event is free and open to the public, and part of the citywide celebration of Bach Week.
