The Conservatory’s Annual Audition Day provides a wonderful opportunity for students to have a professional assessment of their abilities within a positive and supportive environment. Auditions are open to all current WCM private lesson students. Students can audition in more than one instrument area, but must complete a separate application for each area.
NEW! Comments Only Audition: In addition to the merit-based scholarship eligible auditions, WCM now offers a Comments Only Audition option. This non-competitive option provides the same time and professional feedback in a supportive, low-pressure setting. Students are not required to fulfill all listed area audition requirements and will not be included in merit scholarship consideration. It is ideal for student musicians working to overcome performance anxiety, navigating technical changes, or seeking a safe environment to practice auditioning.
