Why did you choose to work at WCM?

I chose the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music because its focus on accessible, high-quality music education and community connection closely matches how I’ve approached my work as an educator throughout my career. After moving to the Milwaukee area, it felt like a natural fit for my experience and values.

Describe a musical experience or teacher that had a positive impact on you.

Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, starting with singing in the community with my dad when I was young. A wonderful childhood piano teacher and several inspiring music educators helped shape my love for musicianship, creativity, and teaching. Music has been a constant presence in my life, leading to meaningful relationships and experiences along the way.
