Why did you choose to work at WCM?

I love teaching music to passionate students of all ages and would love the opportunity to share my passion and experience with the students of Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.

Describe a musical experience or teacher that had a positive impact on you.

Musical experiences and successes empower students to find their voice and place in the world in a way that is so important in twenty-first century American society. I was very fortunate to have a variety of teachers, conductors, and mentors throughout my childhood musical studies. As a member of MYSO, Carter Simmons was an excellent role model who taught me a lot about being a high-quality musician in addition to an excellent member of my community.
