Brass Studies at Wisconsin Conservatory of Music

Brass players of all ages (including trumpet, trombone, French horn, and tuba) can pursue their musical goals at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music (WCM). Instruction ranges from building key fundamentals for beginning band students to refining advanced excerpts and repertoire for symphonic orchestra musicians.

WCM’s expert faculty tailor each lesson to the student’s level and goals, with dedicated teaching artists who support every step of the learning process.

Brass Lessons for Students at Every Stage

Brass lessons support beginners seeking a welcoming start and experienced players seeking deeper musical development. Students develop posture, breathing, articulation, and rhythm through lessons tailored to their current ability and personal goals.

Young musicians can build habits that support success in school bands, while adult learners reconnect with music in a relaxed, supportive environment. Focused study helps students understand how their instrument fits into ensembles and larger musical settings.
