Why did you choose to work at WCM?

I have always respected the reputation of WCM in the Milwaukee community and admired its long history. More recently it’s exciting to see all the ways that WCM is growing in its mission to bring music to everyone, and I’m happy to be part of that!

Describe a musical experience or teacher that had a positive impact on you.

My very first piano teacher, Joan Cunningham, recognized, nurtured and lovingly tended a tiny voice buried deep within my shy nine-year-old self. She taught me to listen to myself, to music, and eventually to those unique voices expressed by every student.
