Raymond Mueller

Raymond Mueller was a classical guitar instructor at WCM from 1977 to 2021. He received B.M., M.M. with Hight Honors from the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Mr. Mueller’s principal teachers were James Yoghourtjian, John Holmquist and Gilbert Biberian. His performing credentials include numerous recitals as a soloist, as a member of the award winning WCM Classical Guitar Quartet and with Richard Siegfried as the Viennese Guitar Duo. Mr. Mueller specializes in teaching students who seek to establish a sound technical and musical foundation in solo and ensemble settings. His teaching emphasizes the understanding and integration of music theory and history into the interpretation of the standard classical repertoire.

In addition to his experience as a performer and teacher, Mr. Mueller was the music librarian at the Conservatory from 1985 to 2017.
