At WCM, the Chamber Music Institute offers a unique opportunity for school-aged students to experience and refine their skills in small ensembles. Each ensemble is matched to students' skill levels and guided by a WCM faculty mentor. Through performances and masterclass opportunities with guest teachers, students develop small ensemble skills and build on their individual successes to become more well-rounded musicians.

Joining the Chamber Music Institute

Because Chamber Music Institute students are carefully placed with peers and instructors to create the most rewarding ensemble experience, registration involves a brief placement process. This includes submitting a short video so our faculty can match each musician with the right group and mentor, ensuring a balanced ensemble where every student can contribute and grow.
