The music doesn’t stop when the sun comes out! WCM offers exciting summer camps for all ages and experience levels. Make new friends, learn new skills, and share your music in performances for family and friends at one (or more!) of our awesome camps this summer.

Our Day Camps
Music Exploration Camp
At our Music Exploration Camps, children entering grades 2 – grade 6 will meet new friends while learning about music- by making music! Campers will sing, drum, and play ukulele every day- AND have an opportunity to meet instruments through performances from our amazing Conservatory faculty. No prior experience is needed, but enthusiasm for music and fun is absolutely required! On the last day of our week together, it will be the campers’ turn to take the stage and perform in a final showcase that will be open for all to attend!
Chamber Music Camp
Perform as a member of a trio, quartet, or quintet- and create friendships through music! String and piano students will receive coaching, take master classes, and explore a variety of electives that develop the musical skills needed for fun and engaging chamber music experiences! Chamber Music Camp culminates with a Friday afternoon showcase for family and friends.
Piano Camp
Are you a school-aged piano student looking for a unique musical experience with fellow pianists? At WCM’s Piano Camp, students will have the opportunity to listen to and collaborate with faculty and other students, attend specialized piano classes, explore piano chamber music, and perform in a showcase recital at the end of the week. Students will receive 1 to 2 individual private lessons with expert Conservatory piano faculty and explore a wide range of topics including sight-reading and sight-singing, transposition, jazz piano and improvisation, preparing and memorizing repertoire, collaborative piano, chamber music, and special topics in piano history. Piano Camp culminates in a Friday afternoon showcase for family and friends.
Jazz Camp
Middle and high school students will enjoy a deep-dive into jazz improvisation, music theory, music production, and history while receiving small group instruction in a jazz combo. Classes include small group combos, improvisation & music theory, electronic music production & recording, group piano class, Brazilian samba percussion ensemble, and more! Jazz Camp concludes with a Friday afternoon showcase for family and friends.
Percussion Camp
Immerse yourself in a diverse percussion experience this summer at WCM! Build on your snare drum, drum set, and mallet instrument techniques, and discover a new palette of captivating sounds. Core classes include drum set and rhythm theory, mallets and melodic theory, and small group percussion ensembles coached by WCM teaching artists. During afternoon rotations, students will explore West African, Afro-Caribbean, Indian-Carnatic, and Brazilian samba percussion styles. Percussion Camp culminates in a Friday afternoon showcase for family and friends.
3-Day Adult Jazz Camp
Beginner, intermediate and advanced adult jazz students will enjoy a 3-day schedule focused on combo performance and improvisation. This camp includes two 2-hour rehearsal and improvisation sessions on Wednesday and Thursday night, culminating in a performance during the jazz camp final showcase.
