Jazz Pianist Lynne Arriale

Lynne Arriale, Milwaukee native & Conservatory alumna, has performed on international concert stages over the past 25 years. Her 13 CDs as a leader have topped the Jazzweek Radio Charts and were included on numerous “Best Of” lists, including The New Yorker and UPI. Her live TV and radio performances include NPR, CNN/FN Biz, & the BBC. A devoted educator and Yamaha artist, Arriale is currently Professor of Jazz Studies and Director of Small Ensembles at The University of North Florida.

The Thomas A. Laskin Memorial Master Class Series is made possible by generous donors to memorialize musician and journalist, Thomas Laskin. Laskin was the founding member of The Appliances, a Punk Rock band well known in the Milwaukee and Madison area in the 1980s and ‘90s. Laskin also worked as a music critic at Isthmus for 18 years.
